1. Returns & Exchange

1.1 At Digital Kiwi Tech, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Please read our returns policy carefully before making a purchase.

1.2 Please note that we do not offer refunds for change of mind however we do offer an exchange or gift card.

1.3 If you wish to exchange a product or receive a gift card for the purchased amount, we are happy to accommodate your request provided the following conditions are met:

a) The goods are returned to us in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria.

b) You contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving the product to initiate the exchange or gift card request.

1.4 How to process a return

To initiate a return please contact our customer support team by emailing support@digitalkiwitech.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order.  Please include the order number, the full name under which the order was placed and the reason for the return. You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with the return of your order unless you have received an incorrect, faulty item or your item has been damaged in transit.

1.5 Eligibility for returns

9.5.1 All items must be returned in an unused, unaltered condition and must be in their original packaging. The packaging must not be damaged or altered.

1.5.2 Exchanges are subject to availability.

1.5.3 Our team will email you with a return authorisation and instructions on how to return your order. Once we have received your order it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return eligibility criteria. Once deemed eligible for a return we will load the purchase amount (excluding shipping cost) on a gift card to be used in the future.

1.5.4 Returns are processed within 1-2 business days of receipt of your returned product(s).

1.6 Returns for Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

1.6.1 In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product please contact our customer service team within 3 days of receiving your order. All returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.

1.6.2 To initiate a return for a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us at with the following information:

  1. Your order number
  2. The full name of the person who placed the order
  3. A description of the issue
  4. Clear photos of the product showing the issue
  5. Our customer support team will guide you through the return process and provide you with further instructions.

1.6.3 Upon receiving your order, we strongly recommend that you inspect the package for any signs of damage before opening it. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging, please document it with photographs before proceeding to open the package.

1.6.4 To initiate a return or exchange due to shipping damage, we may request that you return the damaged product to us. We will provide you with return shipping instructions and cover the return shipping costs. Once we receive the damaged product, we will assess the damage and offer you the option of a replacement or a full refund.

1.6.5 In some cases, we may ask you to retain the damaged packaging materials for inspection or insurance purposes. Please do not discard any packaging until we have resolved the issue to your satisfaction.

1.6.6 After the product’s condition is verified, we will provide you a replacement if replacement is not available, we may offer you a refund. The purchased amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 3 business days of receiving the returned product.

1.6.7 We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet or eligibility criteria at our discretion. If your product is deemed ineligible for a return, we will return it to the address initially provided with the order.

1.6.8 We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products, and we will do our best to resolve any issues promptly. If you have any questions or need assistance with a return, please contact our customer support team at support@digitalkiwitech.co.nz for further guidance.

1.6.9 Please note that this refund policy is in addition to any rights and remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

2. Product Warranties

2.1 Coverage

All products come with a minimum 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty period may vary depending on the product and the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

2.2 Scope of Warranty

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorised modifications.

2.3 Claims Procedure

To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team within the warranty period. You may be required to provide proof of purchase and details of the defect.

2.4 If the product is found to be defective during the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

2.5 Products returned under warranty must be returned to us for inspection. Upon inspection and confirmation of the defect, we will proceed with the appropriate resolution.

2.6 If a product is returned for repair outside of the warranty period, customers will be responsible for covering the repair costs, including parts, labour, and shipping expenses.

2.7 Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
  2. Products that have not been used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Products purchased from unauthorised resellers or third-party sellers.

2.8 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Kiwi Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of our products.

2.9 Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
